Who I am

This website is run by The Conscious Trader (Veda Ray). I am responsible for your personal data. You can contact me at veda_ray777@protonmail.com.

What I collect

If you ask for the free guide, I collect your email address. If you book a session, I collect your name, your email address and the details you give when you pay (handled by Stripe) and when you choose a time (handled by Calendly). If you apply for the mentorship, I collect the answers you give in the application form (handled by Typeform). If you contact me by email or WhatsApp, I keep the details you send me.

Why I use it

To send you the guide you asked for and, if you have agreed, occasional emails about trading and investing education and my services. This is based on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email. I also use your details to take payment and to run the session you have booked, which is based on the contract between us.

Who I share it with

I use trusted providers to run this website and my business: Kit (email), Stripe (payments), Calendly (bookings), Typeform (mentorship applications) and Vercel (website hosting). They process your data on my behalf under their own privacy terms, and some of them may be based outside the UK. This website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads. I do not sell your data.

How long I keep it

I keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed, and delete it when you unsubscribe or ask me to. Payment and booking records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting purposes.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies of its own. Third-party tools such as Stripe and Calendly may set their own cookies when you use them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, to restrict or object to how I use it, or to receive a copy of it. Just email me. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
